Oculus and NextVR Partner to Deliver 360 Live Stream of Connect 2 Keynotes

The Oculus Connect 2 developers conference is already underway with over 1,500 attendees expected to gather for the big event. However, for those who are unable to make it, there are some options to tune in live and get the latest scoop.

Tomorrow starting at 10 am PDT, Oculus will be live-streaming keynotes via their official Twitch channel. However, if you’re a Gear VR owner you can instantly have

Oculus and NextVR have announced a partnership to stream tomorrow’s Connect 2 keynotes in 360-degrees to deliver a fully immersive VR experience. Viewers will be virtually transported to enjoy the keynotes with a front-row seat from the Dolby Theater in Hollywood, CA. The 360 live streams will be available to Gear VR owners via the NextVR app.

The updated version of the application will be available via Oculus Home (launch Oculus Home, select the Oculus Connect 2 icon) on Gear VR. Oculus CEO Brenden Iribe will be the first keynote to kick things off, followed by Chief Scientist Michael Abrash with CTO John Carmack.
