For developers who have been patiently waiting for the release of the new Oculus PC SDK 0.7 update scheduled to be available yesterday for download, will have to keep waiting just a bit longer.

According to a recent tweet from Oculus via its official Twitter page, the new 0.7 SDK for PC will need to be postponed until some time next week before it is officially released.

As previously reported, the new SDK 0.7 will come packed with a number of improvements, including architecture changes that bring better stability and reduced latency performance to gaming and applications on the Rift through a more robust and reliable ‘Direct Drive Mode’ which was developed in conjunction with GPU manufactures Nvidia and AMD.
